Words and pictures · Text and app strings

Copy, documents and app strings in every language.

Upload a file or connect a repository. AI drafts each language with your glossary and tone, reviewers approve it, and you export in the same format you brought in.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish

  1. 1

    Add content

Upload files or sync them from your repository.

  2. 2

    Translate

AI drafts every target language using your glossary.

  3. 3

    Review

QA checks run and a reviewer approves each language.

  4. 4

    Export

Download the files, or pull them through the API.

What it does

Text and app strings, in detail

Everything runs in your own cloud, on the AI provider keys you bring, with your glossary applied at every step.

01

Upload or connect a repo

Bring string files in through the app, the API or a GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket connection.

02

Glossary-aware AI

Product names and brand terms stay fixed, and the knowledge base gives the model your context.

03

Per-project instructions

Set tone, audience and rules for each project so a legal page and a sale email don't read the same.

04

Review in the app

Reviewers edit strings inline and approve each language before it's exported.

05

Documents and marketing copy

Newsletters, product descriptions and offer copy, not just UI labels.

06

Your model, your keys

Anthropic, OpenAI or Mistral on your own account, with no per-word markup.

Questions

About text and app strings

Runs in your cloud on your own AI keys. How that works →

Which string file formats are supported?

JSON, YAML, properties, CSV and XML. See the file formats page for how import and export work.

Can we connect our code repository?

Yes. Connect a GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket account and pull string files from it. API keys and webhooks are there for your own pipelines.

Do our texts go to Humlens?

No. The app runs in your cloud. Text goes only to the AI provider you configure, on your own key.

See text and app strings on your own content.

Bring a file, a creative or a video. We'll run it through Humlens and show you how it deploys into your cloud.
